Saturday, October 19th - 10am - Catered by Born & Bread
There is something special about creating pottery. Not only is it fun but you can also make something useful and beautiful. Handbuilding is an ancient pottery-making technique that involves creating forms without a pottery wheel, using the hands, fingers, and simple tools.
Pieces will be ready for pick up the following week of the workshop.
In this workshop, we will all be building your new favorite succulent dish while munching on a specially catered assortment of Born & Bread pastries. The pottery will be fired off site and available for pick-up on the following Thursday afternoon. Our instructor is Randy Glotfelty. Randy is a Lakeland artist whose work includes a number of fired art mediums and techniques. He is co-owner of Jen-Ken Kilns and Fired Arts Academy.
